Sunday Speedtrap: Chasing Dreams Album Cover

Final version of an album cover for a friend of mine's band. This is actually the 3rd cover I've done for him, and all of them have featured the "Gramma Roadster" character.

I snuck the first cover in as the calender picture, and the road sign, radio, and outdoors are from/inspired by the second cover.

Had a lot of fun working on this one once I got the car down. (Vehicles are not something I tend to draw a lot of.)

I made both these guys for one of my CineMons comics recently and really liked how they turned out. In the comic you can't see most of the details in the scales and fur, so I figured I'd post them here for anyone interested in them.

Level Up

This is a mockup of a drinking game my friends and I randomly made up over Memorial Day weekend. It involved refilling your red solo cup with different beverages every time you got it half way empty. That was leveling up and it went until we had very little mixers left. The title refers to it all taking place on a boat... which was in a garage. We declared that to be international waters after about level 2.

After talking with my sister about the "Battleship" trailer, this came up out of the conversation. Went home and decided to get goofy in Photoshop. If "Battleship" actually does well this summer, look for this in theaters summer of 2014.

So the last shirt with "Fish Sticks" kinda evolved into this little guy. His name is Gurgles and he's a young gillman who hasn't quite figured out how to swim yet.

Dragon Turtle

Found this guy as I was searching through some old sketches. Thought he was pretty neat looking and decided to color him up and what not. Not exactly sure why I drew him, but he's fun none the less.

Fitting in...

So a friend of mine suggested that my CineMon comics didn't really make any sense to most people and that I should try to broaden my jokes to something other than random monster movies. This series was the result.

The first one introduces the idea and has series regulars Godzilla, Rodan, Zilla, and Minya take on the form of "Angry Birds."

The next one has Zilla and Minya in the style of "My Lil' Pony: Friendship is Magic" and pokes a bit of fun at the "Brony" culture that's come out of it.

And the third sees King Kong and King Ceasar getting ready for some "Adventure Time" of their own.

I'm not quite sure it worked out the you wanted Mr. Popp.

The one that started it all...

So this is my first CineMons (short for Cinema Monsters) comic. Fairly straight forward. I basically really didn't like the monster in Cloverfield, and felt he was stupid looking, even more so than the American Godzilla... who I hated.
